Intel ยังคงลงทุนการพัฒนาด้าน 5G ทางด้าน network infrastructure ต่อไป และ intel ยังคงผลิต 4G Modem ต่อให้กับลูกค้าปัจจุบัน ไม่ต้องกลัวว่าจะหนีไปไหน แต่คงจะไม่ไปต่อที่ 5G Modem อย่างชัดเจนแล้วบน Smartphone
ความชัดเจนครั้งนี้ คงจะมีผลต่อผู้ผลิตชิป 5G บน Smartphone รายอื่นๆ บ้างไม่มากก็น้อย เพราะผู้ผลิตหายไป 1 ราย ก็จะทำให้การแข่งขันลดลงไป
